The Civil & Transportation Engineering (CTE) Division is committed to enhancing the knowledge and professional competencies of all levels of engineers, administrators, and technical professionals through high-quality training, consultancy, and capacity-building programmes. The Division offers comprehensive training in the fields of Civil and Transportation Engineering, covering Construction Management, Pavement Engineering, Urban and Rural Road Technologies (including PMGSY projects), Transportation Planning and Management, Road Safety, Traffic Engineering, Public Transportation Systems, Buildings, Bridges, Culverts, Concrete Technology, Project Management, Contract Management, Arbitration and Dispute Resolution, and Civil Engineering Software Applications.

Area of Expertise

  • Keeping pace with emerging technologies and industry requirements, the Division also conducts specialized Training programmes on Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), Building Information Modeling (BIM), Structural Health Monitoring System (SHM), Smart Infrastructure Monitoring, Infrastructure Assessment and Rehabilitation, Land Surveys using Drones, AI-enabled Construction Management, Intelligent Transportation Systems, Advanced Material Testing Techniques, e-Tendering for EPC/Turnkey projects, and Innovative Quality Assurance and Quality Control Practices in Infrastructure Development.
  • The Division has successfully imparted training to professionals from several Central and State Government organizations, including Roads & Buildings Departments, Public Works Departments (PWD), Municipal Corporations, Panchayat Raj Engineering Departments, NRIDA, MoRTH, MES, Ports, RITES, MIDC, TTD and Border Roads Development organizations. Private organizations like Meil, My Home Constructions Pvt. Ltd., Kapil Engineers, Ramky Infrastructure Ltd., Aparna Constructions, Auro Reality etc.,
  • The division also conducts In-house training programmes both offline and online sponsored by the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways (MoRTH), Government of India, for officers from Transport Departments, Police Departments, Directorates of Transport, State Road Transport Corporations, and Traffic Departments. These programmes cover Road Transport Regulations, the Motor Vehicles Act and its amendments, enforcement practices, Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), road safety management, emerging technologies, and future trends in transportation.
  • The division also conducting sponsored training programmes for NRIDA (National Rural Infrastructure Development Agency) senior to junior level Engineers from all over India. Military Engineer Service, Induction training for Newly Recruited Group A Officers Every year since 2018 and also other Induction programs.
  • To meet the diverse learning needs of professionals across the country, the division offers regular in-house programmes, customized on-site training, online programmes, and tailor-made capacity-building initiatives that promote innovation, sustainability, and excellence in infrastructure development.
