Civil and Transportation Engineering department uses the latest tools, technologies and scientific principles to create advanced transportation systems. These systems can then facilitate faster and safer movement of traffic on roads, railways and airways. Any product or system that moves people and goods from one place to another can fall under the scope of transportation engineering

    • The division has imparted training for various Government Departments like Roads and Buildings, PWD, Municipal Corporations, Panchayat Raj and Rural Development Authorities, Ports, Housing Boards, GHMC, Chhattisgarh Housing Board, CIDCO, Rites, SCCL, Railways and Military Engineering Service, Border Road and Defense Studies.
    • The division also organized In-House training programmes to both Public and Private Sectors, State Tourism Development Corporations, NBCC, LIC, DSIIDC, Jindal Steels, Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd., SEW Constructions, Meenakshi Group, Ramky Group, Lanco Infra, Aparna Constructions & Estates Pvt. Ltd., ONGC, ISRO and Indu Projects, etc.
    • As part of the promotion of training amongst member countries of International Network for Professional Engineers Development Institutes (INPEDI), training programmes on “Maintenance of Infrastructure” is being conducted by the division on a regular basis both in India &; abroad under ‘UNESCO’ contribution.
