The primary objective of the CCC is to promote awareness on climate change perspectives in diversified domains of environment, social and development sectors. Aims to build capacities through consultative / training workshops, round table discussions, symposiums, conferences and action research studies. Further encourages innovation through incubation facility. Promotes synergy through institutional collaboration and partnership.

Further, focus on mainstreaming principles & practices of climate adaptation and mitigation through multi-disciplinary approaches. Encourages participants to enable to develop “Implementation Manual”, as part of the training course. Promotes a special focus on mainstreaming disaster risk reduction as an integral part of planning and development.

CCC emphasizes on sustainable indicators & goals, the establishment of measurable indicators towards a way forward in climate adaptation & mitigation. Extends advisory consultation services and studies.
